ALL RISKS
Contractors All Risks policies are seen as the ‘ultimate protection’ the reason for this is, as a contractor you a responsible for a number of things, from tools and materials to people.
As opposed to a named peril policy an All Risks policy works in the opposite way, rather than covering only named policies an All Risks policy covers everything other than excluded perils. This makes the policy much easier to comply with.
Obviously, a Contractors All Risk policy will not cover every single possible loss as usual exclusions will apply and be listed on the policy.
